What is the advantage to putting new springs into the pt? sorry i don't hold an enginering degree nor am i mechanicly inclined (if anyone is a george carlin fan, will recognize the quote). I'm just a lowly flight medic.

Good question, the reason I'm doing the rear is to even the rake of the car, and hope to improve handling, my lowering the center of gravity.

Gary , I used Dons method and it worked. It was a snap.
Put a 2x6 under rear axle jack up car take off rear wheels
put jack stands under side jack points high enough to get
springs out(about 3 notches on my stands)remove the 18mm
bolt from bottom of shocks.Lower floor jack remove springs
put in new ones. Raise rear axle high enough to put bolts
back in shocks.put on wheels.Raise car to remove jack stands.
lower and you are done.I had to drive car up on 2x6's
to get floor jack with 2x6 under axle.

Just ordered the rear lowing springs from Moss (Gold Line) for the rear only. I think the front is low enough, (proof is under my front end from all the curbs is have hit.) I hope it will even the rack plus improve handling some. If you have don the same please post feedback, Thanks, Gary

Gary
I think that you ought to go with the springs all-around and watch where and how you drive. I've seen the rear only and the PT does not seem to sit right.All-around and a BTG Turbo strut bar add alot to the handling.
