Default ........and that's why I bought a Turbo.

Beautiful Nebraska evening, cruisin' back to The Amazing Arthur World Headquarters, when a most awful sound fills my ears.

The unmistakable sound of rice............modified rice. There it is. A new style Toyota MR2 Spyder Convertible (actually a pretty neat car). Complete with the giant coffee can exhaust (not so neat) and the blonde girlfriend (looked very neat). This guy really wants to run me, revving and rolling forward and back. I'm sure he pegs me for a standard PT.

Pray for the red light and yes...... there it is.

Side by side. Give him a few revs, to let him know I'm with him, drop it into Autostick and wait for it.........green light....off we go..tires screeching.....side by side through 1st, going into 2nd (I love that wooosh sound) Toyota-boy gets to see Borla twice pipes.

That was fun.

We were side by side until about 35ish mph (I'm guessing).

Now before you start posting about how stupid it is to race. It was a totally empty highway. There wasn't anyone/thing around us and it was all over by 55mph anyway.

And the point of the story?

That is why I bought the Turbo!

Don't worry boys I had my tupperware with me. I have leftover rice if you're in town.

BTW, if you are a law enforcement official. None of this ever happened and this was completely made up.

Otherwise, that was a fun race.

You hear anything from me but "Way To go"! I can't beat up any ricers in my PT because it is not a turbo. I love kickin their butt with my Marauder though. Wish I had a turbo PT because sometimes people pick on me. Oh well!

Funny Related Story

Not as funny as your story, but still amusing. This happened within an hour of reading your post. Weird coincidence.

good kill, i used to fry some rice with my LTZ that car had no looks but lots of brute strength its a 3.8L V6 200HP 225 TQ, and looked like a old lady car (not ment to offend then older generations) but now with the PT its just what it says a cruiser, until i save my pennies and possibly add a turbo or supercharger

Congrats, seems things are going a bit easier for you on your post. I posted on my kills (03 TE 5 speed non turbo) and all I recieved is a bunch of people complaining and bitching. But, this post has all the cool people posting. Keep us updated on your kills![8)][^]

Heh, that's what I call "safe" racing! Nice kill! Wish I could go hunting, but no Turbo for me and no lonely roads where I live. Oh well, I must content myself with these cool stories!

BlueBlurCruiser
Welcome back bro. Like PT-ERA said, it was a safe race. Up to 55 and quit.
You got the negativity because your race was with more speed and much more dangerous if an accident would accuire. How ever, you survived to fry rice another day. Way to go.

Way to go to Arthur again. Toyota, more like Yoda, old and slow.
