Sounds like a nice trade a honda for the PT. That's the way you got to look at it. As long as no ones hurt with a little imagination and good insurance you can make some upgrades.[8D]
Good thing about the PT is I belive with front and side air bags if one gets in a bad one your chance of walking away are much better than a lot of other cars out thier. In a few years I hear side air bags will be standard on all new cars. I hope non of us has to use ours.

Sorry to hear about your accident. My baby and I survived a rear-ending last October by a Toyota pickup. $8000 worth of damage. She was in the shop for about 5 weeks. I was devastated. The shop did a fabulous job of fixing her. She really is better than ever. Stiff upper lip - it will be alright!

Sorry about your accident. Last month my wife got in an accident w/ my cruiser. It was my birthday so I took the day off and let my wife take the cruiser. I get a call from her about 5 min after she left saying she was in an accident. She was at a stop light turning left. The light was green so she was waiting for a chance to go. The light turned yellow and a couple of cars came through, then it turned red. Since she was in the intersection she went and some dumb little high school girl ran the light and hit her. Of course the girl said the light was green so my wife got the ticket. Now we have to go to court and fight it. Talk about a crappy birthday present!

Sorry to hear about the accident and the damge done to your Cruiser - at least it sounds like it wasn't too bad.

Having said that, ANY damage to a Criuser is too much damage. On the few occassions when I drive mine to work I get very nervous when I see what is going on around me on the road. A couple of weeks ago I saw a lady in her SUV (a Navigator) going past me while she was doing her scratch off lottery tickets on the steering wheel! She was steering with her elbows and resting the tickets on the center piece of the wheel! [xx(] I slowed down so she could get waaaaay past me!

Hope the scummy insurance companies come through soon for you.

I know how you feel. My PT was rear ended by a Dodge Ram truck. It caused $3000 in damages. Luckily he had insurance and my baby is back together.

I had the front end of mine mangled by a 300 M and I was sick, I eventually got it repaired but the hassles it caused was beyond belief. good lick with yours and i hope it comes out oK

That just SUCKS BBC. Hope you get it fixed soon. I had a simular experince with a Chrysler LaBaron convertable I had. I was stopped at a stoplight with a 2 ton truck flatbed in front of me, I saw a women coming up fast behind me and she wasen't looking up. I knew she was going to hit me and there was nothing I could do about it. I just laid over in the seat cause I didn't want my head cut off by the flat bed. She slammed into me totalling my car. She said the light had turned green....I guess you dont have to stop if the lights green and traffic hasn't moved yet.[xx(]
