I think that all that really matters is that the Mini S and the PT GT are in the same class as far as acceleration is concerned. They'll get you up to highway speed just as fast as you want, and get you up to passing speed when you need it.

The rest is just ego.

not cookie cutter type of cars. Point blank, they are both cool cars.[^]

Look at it this way, take the PT GT with 4 occupants avg wt 150 lbs and stack it up against the Mini-S also with 4-150lb occupants. Now, which one will handle the twisties and which one will do the best 0-60?
I would put my money on the PT.

Take the same two cars, throw luggage for a weekend trip in the boot...oops, the Mini now needs a roof rack because the boot is too small.
