Welcome CathyG2004,
I have the same problem. I just follow the rest of the traffic. I have the billet eyebrows that don't help much either. They look nice though.

I had this problem with my 03GT and still have it with my 04GT. Maybe I need some new glasses? [B)] [:0]

Welcome to the forum, CathyG2004. I experience the same problem--just not enough contrast under almost all conditions except at night. This is one of the very few "minor complaints" I have about the car.
I agree also
welcome to this forum Cathy

Is the interior dimmer switch on the left turn signal stalk turned to off? If not, then the gauges will look dim during the day.
That's what I call "the PT Catch 22". With the dimmer off, the speedo is, well, as good as it's gonna get but I can't see the radio face info.
