hmmm well until a couple weeks ago the biggest most awkward things i had hualed in the cruiser to date was 2 very large computer servers, or how about mybrother's collection of like 3000 or so cd's and like 1500 pieces of vinyl when we moved but then a week or so ago, i went to pick up a set of 35's and wheels and 4 resevoir shocks for work and the guy didn't think we could make it fit btu sure enough i told him don't worry bout it "i'm form senseless We'll MAKE it fit" and i didn jsut that, drove the 40 miles back to work with all the windows down so everyone driving by me or stopped next to me could see these big huge beefy bajaclaw tires chillin in my little pt

How about a refigerator? [:I]I measured it and it should fit. But are there any issues with refigerant leaking out? [:I]Or is there anything in the compressor to leak out? [:I]Oil maybe? [:I]I don't care about the 'frige, I don't want ANTHING leaking in my PT! I will have to lay it on it's doors 'cause the cooling coils are on the back[:0] I'm sure it doesn't weigh as much as the mulch I hauled[|)]

I believe that refrigerators should be hauled in a vertical position to prevent the refrigerant from getting out into the atmosphere where it can add damage to the ozone layer.[:0]Probably won't cool that well after either.[V]

The reason you're supposed to transport refrigerators vertically is because if you lay one on it's side, the pag oil runs out of the compressor and into the lines. If you then plug it in right away, the compressor could burn up. Most newer refrigerators will be okay if you stand them up for 24 hours prior to plugging them in.

I know because I just bought a new one 6 months ago. I ended up transporting it vertically in my truck even though it would've been easier to just lay it down because I was having a party that night and I couldn't wait 24 hours for cold beer. Priorities man![^]
