Default AWESOME mod idea for the Dream Cruiser 3

I've got an '04 Dream Cruiser 3. The blue solextra glass for the car REALLY looks sweet (especially inside, looking out), however, the front driver and passenger windows aren't nearly as dark as I'd like them to be. The rear doors and back gate are a deep blue whereas the driver and passenger front doors as a very light aquamarine color (see here for better description http://www.corporate.ppg.com/PPG/Cor...erSolextra.htm ).
So I went ahead and called PPG (solextra glass maker) and am waiting to hear back from them about making me a front driver and passenger window IN THE SAME DEEP BLUE as the back windows are. I'm kinda worried about the $$$$ though. The install won't be a problem. I've got someone that would do it for next-to-nothing.
Those of you who have seen the windows inside and out on the DC3 in person should be able to imagine how freakin' AWESOME this should look if I can swing it.
As far as state laws about tinting I think the deep blue may be right around the legal limit (maybe just over it ) but I'd do it anyway. Here in Naples there are so many $75K+ cars around town with limo black tinting that NEVER get pulled over anyway...

A word of warning. The second mod I made to my cruiser (Eibachs were #1) was to tint the driver and passenger doors the same darkness as the rear doors. Looked great...until I took it out one night and couldn't see a darn thing except out the front window. The only things I could see out the sides were those that were lit up, everything else was totally gone because of the dark tint. It was like driving a tank with a slit in the front to see where you are going. That tint was lightened the next day.

Recommend you check your state's laws before making this modification to be sure it is "street legal".

Spotted police in Manhattan writing up some huge SUV with dark windows - they had some sort of light meter.....

Here's a link to an easy to follow summary of all US State window tinting restrictions:
