Default dealer sticker logo/dealer license plate cover

I have noticed a lot of cars around town that use dealer license plate covers as opposed to dealer sticker logos. This is my husband's pet peeve, free advertising. When we took delivery on my PT he specifically told the salesman to NOT adhere a sticker. His answer? "we aim to please." We took the license cover off as soon as we got home.
Does anyone have a resource or recommendation of an interesting license plate cover? I've seen the plastic over the plates, but that seems to yellow and cloud up.
Thank you

One of the "sponsors" of this site offers them :

Many auto parts stores have a selection "I'd rather be sailing", etc. Some states prohibit the clear plastic covers because they cloud up.

Frances, the yellowing and "fuzzing" of the clear covers is the point. it is supposed to make it harder for the 5oh to read your plate. Some clear covers are even ribbed kind of like the old changey baseball cards and cheesey jesus pics.

Exactly why it's against the law for ANY kind of cover on the rear licence plate...even a clear one. At least that's how it is in my county...maybe all of Florida.

You're husband I are in total agreement on this point! When I bought my first new car back in the early/mid '80s I told the dealer not to put their particularly ugly decal on my car. The salesman said they put it on all cars, it's just the what they do. I told him that if my car had a sticker on it when I picked it up I would draw up a contract stipulating that they would pay me $75.00/month for advertising on my car. He looked at me sort of stupid and said that management would never agree to such a thing. I said "that's right, and I'll never agree to take the car with the sticker on it". I got the car, they got an extra sticker.

I to took my sticker and cover off.
I now have a chrome PT CRUISER plate around my Blue Acrylic lincense plate cover and my lincense. It looks really sweet now.
