Default Is my car 2004 or 2003?
My GT was made in October 2003, but according to VIN its a 2004 model year. How should I refer to my car in this forum 2003 or 2004?

Mine says September 2000, but the earliest year for the PT was 2001. Consider yours a 2004!

Do you have the aluminum pedals? Do you have the upgraded injectors? Those are two things I wish I had in my '03 GT. If you have them it definitely an '04.

Yes, the pedals are aluminum with rubber dots. Don't know about injectors though. Also the antenna is on the roof (on my 2003 Limited it was on the front right wing).

Your most certainly have a 2004 model. Most vehicle manufacturers make the model year change over during the May-June time frame to allow them to build up inventory of the new models for release in September.

Some models are introduced even earlier when a major change takes place.

My 2003 GT was manufactured in July of 2002 and I purchased it in September of 2002.

2004, no question. You have trouble getting premium gas for it?

No, no trouble. But in Russia we categorize gas according to octane level. DC recommends 92 or 95 for PT. I usually use 95, which I guess, is equivalent to premium.

No, it was not an option. It was on all cars I saw at the dealer's, including Lts's.

The antenna is on the back side of the roof right before the spoiler. A liter of 95 costs about 50 cents here.
