I have a Dream ser1 with flames and I get lots of looks from other folks. Used to get similar looks in my TR-4.

I'd gotten some great looks with my '02 Stone White PT, but the looks and comments have certainly increased since I traded for a '04 red/black two-tone!

Ive gotten a few LOOKs. But as far as the PT community here in Ft wayne there dont seem to be one. It seems that most of the PTs are for utility/daily driving only. Ive only seen one modded PT but have never gotten to catch up with them.

My wife says that she still gets that "look" you are talking about. I think it can be summed up by her friends comment when she first saw "Jane" in person. "Your car is "Terminally Cute, but with'tude".
Jane is currently in the shop in Mobile having a Wipple supercharger installed. She already has the Mopar ground effects kit, and Mopar five spoke "spoker" wheels installed. When she leaves Mobile she goes to the dealer to be painted black from the beltline up with a amall red stripe to separate from the bright silver bottom. We are planning to install the Mopar Borla Duals but have not decided on the "quiet euopean muffler" or the louder standard dual. I guess we will rename her "Not so Plain G.I.Jane, with a "Tude"

I'm one of the "older people" who has always made it a point to wave at oncoming PTs if we met on a 2-lane roadway. I think it's often a situation of a lot of people don't really see you wave until you're almost on them, possibly why the older drivers, not having as sharp a vision as thier younger counterparts, don't wave back. If my own reaction time is fast enough I'll try to start waving in time to give them ample reaction time.
