Recently my radio has had an extream amount of static. The static dissappears when I turn off the engine. I have a shorty antenna, but the static started several months after I installed the antenna. I checked the ground wire attached to the left side of the hood.
Any othe suggestions?? Thanks |

Recheck the connections to the antenna and to the radio from when you put the shoty in. I think it worked loose.
