Princess:
Go to Del Amo Dodge instead, they can perform any warranty service OR jump on the 405 freeway north a few miles and go to CarMax Chrysler, just off of Manchester, 8611 La Cienega Boulevard, the service dept is located on the street behind the showroom/new car lot. I've had no problems with either service depts. South Bay Chrysler is notorious for having bad/poor service and fixing problems, even simple ones. CarMax is pretty good on doing warranty/repair/service work, no-hassles and they take the time to explain things and/or listen to you. CarMax just built the showroom and service dept and moved from the old Prince Chrysler location. Get more free goodies at the service payment desk too...lol. The parts dept was nice enough to print out some parts lists for me (for free) and even got some parts for free when they messed up my special ordered parts (they either got lost or was sent back by mistake). There's a free shuttle there to take you where you want to be dropped off or if the repairs takes more than a day, they will supply a free rental if your PT is still under warranty (at least I got it, so YMMV). BTW, the "Pimp My Ride" West Coast Customs shop is right next door to CarMax, so you can check out some of their custom cars and equipment.

Even though we bought our second cruiser at another dealer in Texas, our dealers service dept. still treated us like we had bought her there. We took her in for a syn.oil change and they did a complete check over inspection and ran a VIN check for any outstanding recall or service bulletins, the only thing they found was she needed a new breather filter. They did all of this in under an hour for both of our PTs, our total bill was just over $40(we supplied our own syn.oil because he told me I could get it cheaper than if he supplied it for us). If you live in the OKC metro area go and check out Vance Motors in Guthrie,Okla.

If you live in the East Tennessee Area, Definitely avoid Harry Lane Chrysler. If you can, try to go to Farris Chrysler in Jefferson City, TN. They were great.

West Coast Customs is a relatively small and nondescript shop from the outside. Don't know why they don't answer your e-mail. Might want to call them instead, since they are local: 877 WCC 4 YOU, or 877-922-4968 (toll free); 310 645 1156 (regular line) Curious to know if you meant you wanted to turn your PT into a ragtop or just add a carson top. Would be cheaper just to trade-in and get the convertible than to pay to have it done. The engineering is already done and tested from the factory and you get a 3/36 warranty. In any case, shop around and see if they have any references that you can go look at and talk with the owners if they are satisfied and have had any problems.
