What year? My friend has a 95 Eagle Talon (same thing as a eclipse) non-turbo, 140hp. I've driven it several times and for the most part it seems to be just as fast as my Cruiser. It's too close too call, but it definetley stops better and handles better.

My son had a Eagle Talon, 4 wheel drive Turbo. That thing was a rocket and off the line for the first 1/8 mile there weren't too many cars that would keep up with it including my Vette. It wasn't until the end of the quarter mile where Horse Power overcame technolgy. I think they just made a commercial about that but it was car washing technology that came into the future with Mr. Clean.

This most definetly wasnt a turbo. And by the way his car was revving he was definetly taking it seriously. It was one of the older ones i dont know the year. From behind, until i got up to it i thought it was an old talon.

Was it more rounded off, or kind of square and flat?

I've taken many an eclipse, mid to late 90's model trying to smoke down the freeway. Probably not a turbo, but I don't have any boost either so it's a fairly even run.

Do you have a 5 spd king? That maybe why I was able to take them, make sure you put it all the way to the floor to get the downshift, otherwise you might not be much competition if you're in an auto. [8)]
