Don't think you have ABS, because that came with 4-wheel discs. If you have a TRAC switch near rear wiper switch, then you have ABS (came with traction control).
I thought front air bags were an option on all - even Limited. Only rear difference between Limited and an optioned Touring was leather, which was only on Limited.

Nice car!

Did you say that your mirrors do not fold? I thought all of the 01
mirrors were heated/folding because I had a base that had them[:I]
What ever year it is, that is one good looking ride [?]

Almost forgot, did you look on the door sticker or door post? There is a code called MDH (month, day, hour) that tells you when it was built, and also on the same sticker is the month/year code. [8)]

Their is a chart of the PTDoItYourself.net site that tells you what the VIN number means. You can use that to decode what you have.

http://www.ptdoityourself.net/tl/tl_22.html#550

Scroll down to the end of this page for the chart.

Thanks,
Jeremy Bays

The Limited's leather group also included the steering wheel. Your's doesn't appear to be wrapped, so this would be another indicator towards a Touring Edition.

But with the mods, it's better than either![]

Well, if I use the chart, it says I have a Cruiser. So I guess that is not as nice as a touring or a limited. I don't know.

I suppose I could understand you wanting to know if the car was a Touring or Limited if it were bone stock. That car has been so modified, and very tastefully so, that it no longer is what it once was. It is now something totally unique and you should be stoked that you get to drive it any damn time you please!!

Congratulations on purchasing such a great looking car!

I can't imagine purchasing a vehicle and not knowing the exact model [:0] but anyway, just look at the VIN # for a positive answer on the model cruiser you have:

1st = 3 (country of origin, Mexico)
2nd = C (Chrysler)
3rd = 4 or 8 (without and with side air bags)
4th = F (weight class)
5th = Y (model line)
6th = 4, 5, 6, or 7 (4 base, 5 touring, 6 LE, 7 GT/Dream)
7th = 8 (hatchback)
8th = B, G, or 8 (B for NA 2.4L, G for H.O. turbo 2.4L, 8 for 180 turbo 2.4L)
9th = 0 - 9 (Check digit)
10th= 4 (current model year, 2004)
11th= T (Toluca)
12-17th 6 digit assembly plant sequence number
