Erratic Door Locks/Airbag/Rear Hatch

Hello all-
I have searched but have not found a problem quite like mine. I have the common erratic door locking/unlocking grinding problem while car is on or off. It can be completely random but i noticed that changing gears (AUTO) from Park to 1st and back up while stopped triggers it as well. Mix that in with my Airbag light staying on after start then going out, and returning at random times for 10-15 seconds. Finally the back hatch light is on more often than not when the hatch is closed. All these problems are mostly random but all started at the same time. As a irritation eliminator, I took out the door lock fuse (3) and the airbag fuses (in fear of the airbag deploying at 70 mph). Any ideas what could be causing this? Also, if I unhook my RKEM will it affect anything other that remote entry? I can live without it but i don't want any adverse side effects....

Welcome.
I see you know about the RKEM - you can live without it and use key locks.
I think you may have 3 separate problems:
1) Locks - sure sounds like classic RKEM death.
2) Rear hatch - sensor?
3) Airbag -
I've had my airbag light come on - usually after mashing the horn - I found that if I banged the edges of the center padded area of the streering wheel it'd go out.
