Default Need buying Advice

Hi,

My girlfriend has her heart set on a PT Cruiser. It must be the bright metallic blue, have leather seats, a moon roof and be an automatic. She would really prefer a turbo model. She also wants a 2003 or newer model so that the bumper matches the body color. Can someone point me to information on buying a PT Cruiser? Any advice? Does the GT model have anything that can’t be found on the other models? Is the GT motor any better than the touring motor? How about the touring motor vs. the base motor?

Thanks

**GT = Turbo = little less gas mileage (but, so does an automatic)
***GT, usually = GT Spoiler (I've got a 2006 Touring, and am going to aftermarket add the GT spoiler. (a styling thing for me)
****Don't have the turbo with my 2006 Touring....but it has plenty of pick up with a standard transmission. Might want a turbo if she expects a good punch of the accelerator to respond quicker.
(just my 2 cents)

The Limited (06/07) has the spoiler and can be had in the non-turbo NA,(NA=non-asperiated). My '06 has much more "pep" than my '02 had. Watch the ads near model end, you can get a much better deal on a year old one.

Interesting you mentioned that, as some of you know I just purchased my '05 Black Touring Edition Convertible less than 3 weeks ago. I got a great deal on it. It was brand new and had only 180miles on it. It just sat around on the lot for 2 1/2 years.

The original poster should get his dealer to do a search for any that may be available.

Regards
Terry
