Have seen your list before Mike, and have been using my local Chevron ever since for all my cars including the Vette. A can of Chevron's Techron cleaner about once a year too.

Since we live in Canada, so it's a bit different.. but we use:
Chevron (1st choice) Husky (90 octane for the price of low grade... very nice!) mohawk while in the U.S: Chevron B.P Ones we avoid like the plague: Shell (everytime we have used it in the past, it ate through injectors.. terrible gas!) Esso (mostly political reasons.) Petro-canada (just not great gas) |

I live near Boise, Idaho and buy from places that sell Flying J gas. They have truck stops and Fred Meyer stores here also sell their gas.
I hate to buy from the company that sells both Shell and Chevron here.

I agree with crewzin. I also recommend a can or two of Techron once in a while. Not only does it help keep things clean, but eliminates the sulfer buildup they may effect your gauges. I had this problem in my Vette until a member on a Corvette forum suggested I put in some Techron. My gas gauge read that my tank was empty with 6 gallons left. The computer could say there is no more gas...then you are stuck. This cleared up the problem.

I may be late with my opinion, however I am an exxon/mobil guy from a long time ago and the speed pass is very convenient. I have to say I tried Shell and have not looked back. by far the more superior of those to companies.
It works for me.

Im from Oregon, and I use either Arco or Shell. I haven't taken notice of performance yet, but lately I'm using the trip odometer (2002's don't have computer to tell me how much gas) to determine how much gas I'm using after topping out. And typically, I use the 87 (unleaded) as I'm the only breadwinner...yeah, so I'm cheap. LOL
After I had my computer module replaced in my auto transmission last week, I noticed that my gas usage improved. Too bad that my 2002 have only a 10 gallon tank~ as I'm thinking of trading up to a 2006 that had a 15 gallon tank. ![]()
