Vintage Steering Wheels on a Cruiser???

i was thinking about putting on a 1965 Chrysler Newport steering wheel on to a 2003 PT Cruiser. My friend has it and is willing to part with it. I'm going with a "The Punisher" gimmick....black car, big punisher decals on hood and each front door. roman chariot fender skirts, conti wheel, etc. By any chance, would that steering wheel fit?

Anything might fit with the right adapters, but what about the air-bag? Do you live in an area without a state inspection? Your profile says nothing about you.
