Thats the biggest load of bs I have ever heard.
One question were the tires installed by a chain store or just a local tire place. If it was a chain store and you are not getting the satisfaction you deserve try taking it to another store as they are all interconnected,if it was a local tire place you might end up having to go somewhere else, have the tires rebalanced(probably the culprit as everyone else has said)and then calling your local Better Business Bureau and filing a report. |

End of the story, I hope.
Due to lack of time, I didn’t have a chance to go back to the place I originally got the tires. So, I jumped in quickly at Sears, of all places. I still wasn’t completely sold on the idea the tires were out of balance but I thought I’d give that potential remedy a shot. Wouldn’t you know it? They balanced the front tires and the shimming and thumping went mostly away. I attribute the little that remains as road conditions. I can easily live with what little remains. A big thanks to all who contribute their two cents. It was indeed helpful. |
