Difference between base and touring?

I’m shopping for a 2006. I can’t seem to find any difference between a base and Touring unless the previous owner selected options only available on the Touring. Without the special options, is there any difference?

It varies from year to year. In '05, Touring came with A/C, base didn't. That was about it. See if you can find a dealer that has an '06 PT brochure - that had columns with the features by model.

my wife went from a 02 base to an 04 limited and there were tons of more stull in the limted , cruise, fog lights, 6 disk cd changer ,

We just bought a used 06 Base. From what I see, I do not have the tilt-over front passenger seat (which I really wish I did) and it did not have Cruise Control which I did have installed by the dealer for $497. I believe both these are included on the touring model. Also, the tinted windows on mine were Dealer installed (coating) for the original owners, I think that tinted rear glass was a factory option on the touring.
