I went thru this on my 200 Durango a few weeks back after we got about 4 inches of rain.

I was told by a friend who is a tech that most of the time it isnt the switch but in the connector further back, the switch has the male connector and the door harness the female.

Moisture gets in and cause the relay to trigger.

I pull both driver and passanger door and gate and could not see any issues with the switches, I just put dielectric grease at the connectors and put them back together.

Havent had an issue since.

If it really bothers you, just disonnect the three connectors and call it good, you still have the FOB and can still get in the driver door, you just wont be able to actuate the other doors via the key.

any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated....it is also very cold here in Oshawa, Ontario.

Thanks!
I have the same problem with my '05 PT. The weather here though is in the fifties (F) so I do not think temperature is an issue. Were you able to resolve your problem? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

I mentioned this locking/unlocking problem to my wife--cause her 2003 PT Limited did this very thing for a few weeks (a few years back). She remembered that when we got a new battery, the problem stopped.

Our 06 did this once a few months ago. The locks would lock at 15 mph, but then unlock, and continue to click to unlock. There had been a storm with lighning the night before, so I figured that scrambledx things somewhere. After I shut the car off, the next time I drove it, no problems. But this week it's started up again, and more annoyingly than before! I wish they'd said where that second connection is-inside the door, or the boot to ther door post, or in the kick panel? I guess the other thing to check is the switch on the ds lock. Our car was a rental originally, and we didn't get any fobs with it. I suppose they all have the rke module though? -Adam
