With the hood open on my 04 Dream Cruiser I noticed a broken wire. It connects to the passenger side of the hood near the hinge and runs only a few inches to the body. It appears to by a ground wire, but why would the hood need to be grounded?

Mine broke too and I just crimped on a new ring connector and screwed it back in place. Technically it's part of the radio noise suppression ground wire system (according to the shop manual anyway, and that publication ought to know!!) but I noticed no difference in the radio between it being connected and broken.
