I have a 2006 Cruiser with the base seats having manual adjustments only. The seat bolsters (along my thighs) are too firm and uncomfortable for me. Will any seat from any year Cruiser fit into a 2006? Will the airbag sensor on the passenger side be an issue? I've been reading that there isn't an easy (and safe?) way to lower the seat, but do older year seats ride lower? Thanks for any help. Recycling yards around here do not have Cruisers for some reason.

It's that time of year so your best bet is to go to a PT meet to check out other model years. You can also have lots of fun and meet lots of nice PT people. Look for a PT club in your area.

I have exactly the same problem with my '06 Touring/manual driver's seat. Brutal butt-pinch job, ridiculously narrow and hard bolsters. I suppose we can just have an upholsterer chop down the foam in the bolsters to flatten the seat out, but would that ruin resale? Are there any replacement seats for the PT?
