Default Considering purchasing new Pt - But Concerned?

Have read that Chrysler to discontinue PT Cruiser -makes me wonder if I should be afraid to purchase a new PT.

Look at it this way, when they stop making them you'll have a car that people won't be able to get unless they buy a used one. With over a million of them on the road, parts will always be available and now there's a lifetime warranty on the powertrain with new purchases.

Car models are discontinued all the time. So I wouldn't let that concern me.
The Cruiser is good enough that I'm on my second one, and some here own 3 or more!

Go for it!

GM quit making Oldsmobile and people still bought them Normally manufacturers carry parts for a number of years down the road.

As what CREWZIN said, if PT really discontinued, your PT becomes rare.
People admiring your PT cruising by wont be able to get it new

With Chrysler's new Lifetime Powertrain Warranty now in effect there's probably never been a better time to purchase a new PT Cruiser, or any Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle for that matter.
