Smile New Plates....

I had personalized plates on the PT that came off my Corvette when I sold it and the plate never really fit the PT. After I saw a couple of plates on some local vehicles I got the bug to change them. Two of the plates I remember seeing were both on lawn service trucks, one was "GOT MOW" and the other was "MOW THIS".

I went on Florida's DMV website and was able to check the availability of different combinations, so I knew my choice was available when I went to order them about six weeks ago.

My graphics get plenty of comments so I went with the same theme.........

Good job. They didn't have the search feature when I went to get mine back in 2000. Had to spell it 30 different ways while hanging around the Clerk of Courts office to find out if whatever I came up with wasn't taken.

Don't you hate the double little oranges and My Florida.com they came up with. I had to get the new plate on my Vette when I changed my personal one.

Every time I see your tailights, I keep thinking I gotta get me some of those for my 'Vert, not too mention the chrome for around the licence plate.

Terry

Yes, I do hate the double oranges and MyFlorida.Com.

The five years were up on the old plates and thats another reason for the change. I never changed before because of the MyFlorida.Com thing. And to get the proper amount of letters on the plate all the speciality plates were out as well.
The extra cost of $13.00 is really reasonable. My previous state charged an additional $55.00 for personalized plates, but of course you got two plates.
