Maybe Mr Cruzin can help me. It makes a kinda whining noise when you turn only the one way could it be a wheel bearing and it been doing it for about 3 years we racked it and check everything over and over. They have hub bearing correct? Or is there anything else that can cause it and if it that I going to do both side at once. Or could it be a strut or anything it kinda like a rararararar noise if that helps it pulsates when turning at any speed.

I agree with Infernocruiser01. While tuning, more weight and stress is put onto one side or the other. If a wheel bearing is going out it will make that kind of noise only when turning in one direction. Yes, like he said, replace both sides at once.

My 04 Cruiser was making similar noises. I had approx 1500 miles left on my extended warranty and took it in to the dealership.
They found two ball joints were wore out and also replaced the left axle/cv joint. I am hoping the right side will go bad before my warranty runs out. |

Wonder if there was a resolution to this problem. My 2001 5 speed has a whine sound like a sewing machine while cornering under mild torque. I thought it had something to do with the transmission.

Thanks for writing Madturtle.
Mine does it only when it is cold weater. I still think he wants to move to Arzonia, lol. I have a maintance program on him and take him in every so often and they tell me it is normal for a Chrysler, but they are not a Chrysler dealer, I bought him used at the Toyota's used lot. I would like to check it out with our local Chrysler dealer when he is cold. -------------- I have a 2002 toasted almond, turbo, LTD and my hubby got a 2001, green, 5 speed last month. Mine is a dream come true, my hubby loves his too. They are wonderful cars. I need to get a hold of my sons camera and get pics. of them. You have a great day, if I found out, I'll let you know.
