So with that being said I am new to the PT Cruiser.
I am hoping that you kind people can answer me a few questions. Why does almost every PT in Ohio have a vanity plate? Is there a club I am missing? My PT has Sirius radio free for 12 months. Is that standard? I went to the PO today and there were 2 PT's parked in the lot. Mine made 3. Whoa Nelly....This may be PT Country in Ohio. |

CW. Welcome to the forum and the PT Cruiser.
Not every PT will have a vanity plate but giving the nature of the PT, many will have. The PT is different from all the other cars out there. You sort of "stand out in a crowd" and a lot of owners who buy them, care to express their feelings with the plate. Yes, you are missing out on the clubs. I googled "PT Cruiser OHIO" and came up with a few, try it. To move the Cruiser, Chrysler had all sorts of Cash Back, Low Percentage financing and yes Sirius radio for a year. They also had longer term warranties and now, a Limited Lifetime Powertrain warranty which you should have gotten if you just bought a new PT.

I did indeed get the Powertrain. I have a sun/moon roof and I must admit it is neat. I just need to figure out how I can jump into the driver seat from said window.
Wait....we do have a trampoline!

Yea, that's why I bought a new Base model vs. a used 07 Touring for the same money. I figured I can add what I need to to get up to the touring model (ie tinted windows, maybe power mirrors, etc ...) but it would have cost me quite a bit more to add an extended warranty, which would not have been unlimited mileage!

The auto mart had a vanilla ice, I think it was called...real nice but it was a floor model/test drive car and had pen marks inside, scratches and a bit dirty. They had one black one and 4 silver. Somehow I liked the Hi Ho Silver one. I see so many PT's on the road AND yes I do the wave. I ran across 17and no one has waved back. Although the one was on the opposite side of I-71 going 65 MPH. JUST DO THE WAVE MAN.
