I am new to PT Cruiser-land and am looking at two used 2001 5 speeds, one with 9K and one with 37K miles. I am wondering what to expect as a "frequency of repair" experience. My 1994 SAAB is great to drive but very expensive (and far too frequent) in the repair shop. My wife's 1991 Honda is the other extreme - great repair record but not as much fun to drive.
The on-line forum respondents at Edmunds.com generally fall into two camp- those who love their Cruisers and those who can't wait to get rid of them. Consumer reports rates the PT Cruiser as 'average' in repair frequency. What can I expect in repairs? Thanks - great forum. |
