rear hatch unlatching at startup
Have been enjoying our 2005 PT for nearly two years now and yesterday discovered that the rear hatch unlatches when we start the car. It only does it after using the remote to open the door and then starting up. If I lock the doors after we get in then no problem. After getting out and closing the rear hatch and starting up again it stays latched.

Problem resolved. Problem started getting worse so pulled the fuse to the RKEM and started up the car. After trying to use the power door lock switch and finding it was also part of the RKEM I turned the switch to off and replaced the fuse. Everything is working normally again. Since the RKEM is programmable I think it was corrupted and removing the fuse rebooted it.
