Missing an owners manual?

Did you buy a used PT only to find out that the owners manual was missing? Well, Chrysler (for some reason) decided to let you download a FREE copy of the PT Cruiser (and others) Owners Manual. The choice is for 2004 to 2007 but I'm sure there's not a heck of a big difference if you bought a 2001 - 2003. There's also a selection that lets you buy the owners manual or service manual in case you didn't want to download 250 pages.

I couldn't get the link to work from Australia, said the link didn't exist, I bought my 2006Ltd PT 6 months old and was missing the glovebox manual so any help would be welcome,Cappy5

It's working here. I just downloaded the 2006 manual to my home computer. It's an Adobe file and it's 464 pages, but I don't know how to get it to you. I tried email from this forum but it doesn't have a way of attaching a file.

Hi Crewzin,I tried the link again with all the ad pop-up stuff off but no luck. I clicked on the link for its properties and then followed the address through the Chrysler site and found the Download I needed but it still wouldn't work so I'm guessing its not available for Australia. Holigan suggested sending you my email to see if you could pass it on but I'll understand if 464 pages is too big for email. I do have the worshop manual from downloading it from a USA site[cost $25] but that doesn't explain alot of the in car stuff. This forum site has explained nearly all I need to know but it is handy to have the glove box manual for reference so if possible I'll send you my email.Thanks,Cappy5

OK Cappy, it's on it's way. The only download is for the 06 convertible but that shouldn't matter. Let me know if it gets through to you and you can open it.

Thanks Heaps Guys, email arrived with the manual included from Crewzin and opens with no problems. I tried the updated link again to see what happens but same as before so I'd guess Australia off the list for the manuals.I use a tabbed browser so when I click on the link ,2 tabs open up as blank but that is as far as it goes. I tried for a 300 manual ,same thing. Anyway Thanks to Crewzin I have a copy ,Great Stuff. Cappy5
