Whats up all new to site. Glad to be here. Has anyone tried a computer chip upgrade, and did it work. Owner of 07 Touring Edition non-turbo.

Where did you hear about the computer chip? If it's the ones selling on eBay, they aren't worth it.

Thanks Crewzin that was very helpful. I have question for you crewzin if you dont mind. If you had to give advice. What upgrades would you recommend for the beginner cruiser. Someone who just wanted to keep it under, lets say 350 dollars. I have a 07 Touring cruiser non-turbo.

You didn't say but I take it your talking about performance. There isn't much to gain with the non-turbo PT. Maybe a few hp at the most. Think of your engine as an air pump. The more cool air you can bring in and the more you can pump out the better performance you'll have.

Start with the intake of air. To save money, do it yourself by following these directions:

Next is the exhaust. The muffler is very restrictive, so go to a good muffler shop and see what they suggest to replace it. Just a good free flow muffler will work but watch the noise factor. The free flow exhaust might be too loud for you.
The last thing is a good front strut tower brace. Keeps things together and stops the lean in the corners. Plenty of them out there but for a start, search the performace section of www.raceandstreet.com
