Hi back QuickSilverDon:

Thanks for the welcome! I am having a gr'eaaaat time here on the forum and am so glad to have found it. I shall take your advice and check into the Raybestos ceramic pads or ones from Napa. Us girls aren't that knowledgeable about things like this and I appreciate the pass-along of information. I love cars but never took auto shop in high school. Big mistake on my part!

I am working on making my Wee-Beastie P.T. Econobox a cool cruisin inferno red machine. Actually, I love the lines of the 2007 Touring model and my Husky and I cruise the road with happy smiles and tails a-wagging. I was wondering, does anyone have any experience of the P.T.'s in snow? I was living back in N.E. Pennsylvania for the past 4 years and drove a Ford Explorer. I read my manual and it said: ' chains not reccommended ' which kind of floored me since they are requried here in the local mountains outside of Los Angeles. I will be travelling a lot to the local mountains here called Big Bear and am planning trips to Colorado with the Siberian Husky aka: Sugar-Paws. Back east I never needed woosie chains ... just good all weather tires. Any experience in snow is welcome.

Happy travelin' Cruiser Buds ............ ;-) Woof !
