well I did the experiment with WD 40 but could not really tell if that changed anything...

by the way, I could not remove the lower bolt for the brace so I just slid the intake out. How the heck did you manage to remove it without removing the whole radiator :-) ?

we had similar symptoms (bad idle, p304 code) on our 2003 gt.
turned out to be a bad intake manifold gasket. replaced under drivetrain warranty by dealership, and problem fixed. |

To loosen the lower intake manifolds support bolt I used a universal joint and several sections of eight inch long 3/8" drive extentions.
I am glad you were able to fix your Cruiser! |
