Default Warranty Bulletin D-07-29

Has any one seen this, or know about it?

PM SubjectSA Goodwill Authorization Change Reminder

Please review Warranty Bulletin D-07-29 that was released on October 11,2007

The DSA Goodwill Authorization limits have been extended to 36 months from the expiration of the warranty. This

change is being made to allow you to make goodwill decisions with (and for) your customers without Corporate

involvement.

Once again, please review the bulletin for full details as this change is effective today October 15, 2007

Thank you

Haven't seen or heard of it, but sounds like the new owners of Chrysler are putting more authorization into the hands of the dealer to fix problems without having to go to higher management and also extending the warranty time to do it.

All good news.

It would be interesting to find out just what this means.

Yes Hooligan!

This Warranty Bulletin D-07-29 that was released on October 11,2007 just might be what the P.T. Doctor ordered on my front windshield since I have heard -0- from the local dealership (now day #3.)

I shall look into this .......... thanks oldcoach!

:-) Woof !

This bulletin really means nothing to the customer. All it does is let dealerships with DSA (dealer self authorization) goodwill repairs further beyond the basic warranty than they normally could. Unless they really really like you (ie. you own 10 Chrysler vehicles), dealers usually will never use their DSA. 95% of the time they tell you to call Chrysler for out of warranty assistance even if they have DSA.
