![]() Help I wanna make my rear window roll up and down. I saw one at a car show and fell in love with the idea but I have no idea where to begin. If anyone has any ideas or send me to a web site to help me get started. Thanks for any help! |

Stacylynn,
Welcome to the forum. Any decent custom shop would be able to put a working rear window but you do understand your about to put out probably in the range of about $2000 with fabricating, electrics and painting. Look in the yellow pages for auto custom work or ask around at a local car show cruise-in for recommendations.

You can put in a "T" handle in place of the rear wiper that makes it look like it opens up. Cost you about $35 but you loose your wiper.

You do realize that with the rear window rolled down and with the placement of the exhaust there would be a venturi created and you would suck exhaust fumes into your car making you possibly crash or even die.

It's a fact with any car. The hatch left open will do the same thing, but that should never happen as the PT has the "hatch ajar" light to tell you it isn't closed properly.
