having some issues with the driver side seat. the plastic part that the button for the power seat is attatched to, broke off. chrysler said they will pay for it this time to replace it but this one time only. i just bought my pt tuesday 06 limited. love it already but its kind of aggravating!

haha! actually i wasnt using the button i was getting out of the car! it just snapped off (the clips broke). the dealer was like "wow we gotta fix that!"

It's hard to tell from the picture, and it's different from my 01 model, but is there more than one place that snaps on to hold it in place? Did both (if there's 2) snaps brake off and were the broken parts still around the area? Seems to me it wouldn't just snap off that easy getting out of the car. It was probably half broke off already by the dealer before Tuesday (when you bought it) and it was just waiting for you to touch it to brake all the way off.

yeah it clips in 2 places. im thinking that it was definitely broken before. im just glad they are going to fix it! if it happens again im going to fix it myself somehow since they wont fix it after this one time.
im very happy with the pt. its amazing compared to my 01 chevy blazer i traded for it!
