Question Strut Tower Brace's

Ok guys are Strut Tower Brace's all that. Does it make that much of a diffrance?

They are a piece of the suspension puzzle. Strut bar, better shocks, better sway bars (considering from '03 on there isn't a back one), poly bushings, lowering springs or coil overs.

I just put on a Feedom Design & Yes................it makes a difference!
Off highway curved ramps at 60+ car stays on track.....no more heavy lean....about $125.00 & easy to install.

Another vote endorsing Strut Tower Braces... easy bolt-on improvement to turn-in response.

One bit of installation advice: Strut nuts torque specs are in the 15-20 lb/ft range (If I Recall Correctly).

Use a Torque Wrench that is accurate in that range.

They are Expensive bolts to shear off. (IE More expensive then a good torque wrench. If you plan to do any engine work, even just changing plugs, you need one that is accurate in the low end of the scale. These aluminum and plastic parts are easy to break.)



(Fondly recalling my old Shovelhead... every bolt had the same torque spec: 2 Grunts and a MF.)

Strut bar is well worth the money, and easy to do - just, as noted, go EASY on the strut nuts.
