You know I was thinking the same thing myself. I might take it to another autopaint shop. What would you guys think if I painted the windshield wipers? I was thinking about painting the fat part of the wiper red and leave the skinner flat part that goes to the wiper black. Two tone job!

Thought about painting the wipers but only got as far as painting the cowl.

Personally, I like the wipers black. Wipers to me are an ugly spot on the clean lines of a car, any car. The less noticeable, the better. Their black now and sit on the the blacked out part of the window which helps put them out of sight. When mine faded to gray after a couple years, to me they stuck out so as soon as I noticed it, I bought a new shinny set of black replacement blades.

I'm new here, and this is a great site!
You can have the bumpers painted. The texture line is just that, a line. Just make sure they use a pliable paint when they do it so it does not peel. The wing and mirrors look awesome. What did you have to do to paint the B pillars? I would like to do mine. Thanks for posting. I love to see what others do to their cars.

I am new here, and wanted to say, this is an awesome site!
That line they gave you about painting the bumpers is just that, a line. As long as they use a plyable paint, there should be no problem w/peeling or application.
The mirrors and wing look great! How would you prep the B pillars for paint? I would love to do mine.
Thanks for posting the pics, I love to see what other people do to their Cruisers!

Not sure what prep was done to the door pillars. Had a GM body shop paint my bumpers then about a month later, had them paint the mirrors and pillars. Not had any problem with them or the bumpers.
