Hi everybody !!!!
Now I got 2 problems with my PT 1. Now the temperature is much lower than then when I bought my car.So I start it without a problem but when I want to set off /Go/ the engine goes down.So this happened several times in a rall then I began to wait my PT for some minutes to heat up and after that there were no problems but during heating up the engine I had to keep my leg on the gas pedal because the PT could not keep the turnovers above 1000 2. How to adjust mw car clock Thank you |

I too am new to the PT world. I don't have a clue about the temp problem but as for the clock push in the button under the clock until you reach your desired time......

gavaga,
As far as the stallling when cold, you might be having a problem with the IAC (Idle Air Controller) located on the side of the Throttle Body (see picture with yellow asterisk where the IAC is located).

Sounds like problem I had with ignition wires. My theory is the wires take in moisture, and when car warms up it dries out the wires.
Happened on both my '02 and '05 PT - on my '05 PT, the wires started acting up before 20,000 miles! New ignition wires cured the problem. You should change the spark plugs at the same time you do wires. On radio, on right side are 2 small sunken buttons marked H and M - take a nail (or ball-point pen) and push in to set Hour (H) or minutes (M).
