I've got an '03 Turbo with autostick.
It has no trouble getting 21 to 22mpg driving a 50/50 mix of highway and city roads.
Of course, I drive like an old man most of the time. LOL.

never had anything like that happen to me. In my other car I don't watch the fuel guage. Instead, I keep my eye on the "miles remaining" reminder. Usually at around 20 miles remaining do I fill up (which is well into the red territory).
with the exception of the mpg its not a bad car. especially for $7500. It was that or trade my other car in for a $55k SUV that would average 12mpg.
I just found it odd that driving with a lead foot in a high powered I6 engine I get better gas mileage than with the 4banger.
