Welcome aboard. I'm fairly new here as well. My experiences is as follows... Bought our '06 new as my wife's daily driver(DD) and trust me she puts the miles on it! Right now we have over 35k on it in little over a year. She loves driving it. We've had 2 issues with it,

1) (common problem) rough idling - fixed with a tune up - dealer wanted $200, I did it myself for $66 in parts THANKS TO THIS FORUM!! - search for the instructions, they changed just slightly for the '06)

2) (common problem) lower control arm bushings (front driver side and passenager side) and a "defective" sway bar linkage that broke about 3 weeks after they did the work on the control arm bushings which they called defective but I think the dealer just didn't reinstall it correctly IMO - we'll never know.

Other than that the wife is cruisin' right along.... IMO I don't think it gets very good gas mileage based on the amount of driving and how often she has to put gas in it but I couldn't tell you mpg because it's not my DD and to get her to check mpg - forget it.

Ok so let me put this into its proper perspective. Your wife put 3 years worth of miles onto a car, in a year? Common tune up pieces maybe get 3 years of use out of them or 35-36 thousand miles. Also Rubber bushings are prone to failure at around 36-48 thousand miles or 3-4 years. In all reality your car is pretty much right on target. I say carpool. J/K Thanks for the input.
