Warranty information please....

The $150 "extension" you guys are talking about is not an extension. The vehicle originally came with a 7/70 powertrain warranty, and if you are the second owner, you must pay a $150 fee to transfer it. Don't transfer it and you get stuck with 3/36 powertrain (aka just the basic warranty). You need to go to your dealer to transfer it.

My Chrysler extended warranty on soonercruiser cost a little over $1,000, a few months after purchase.

yeah, my dealer and even the bank I financed my car through tried to sell me a pricey warranty package. I declined.


call up and ask. it doesnt hurt. worst thing they can say is no. and like i said, don't mention that it was a rental car in its previous life.

engine, tranny, drivetrain....what else do we need to cover? if the radio goes bad I'll just chuck it.
