I totally agree Mealon!
Born in PA; raised in WVA here. Until you lived through the winters in the NE, you can't relate. We even had a car with a rust through and failure in the front frame! Wasn't even a good salvage at that point!
That rust through event occurred yaers after in NC.
Haven't lived up north for many years. So, all I do now is go to the car wash within a week of the rare salt applications on the roads, and spray uner the car thoroughly!
(and don't forget the difference between a garaged crusin car, and a day driver used in those environments)
