the buld on my automatic floor shifter is out , at night i have to go by feel to find drive . ant idea how to get that apart withut breaking much ?

I have no idea - I have the same problem on my Subaru Outback. I will probably have to break down and buy a Haynes Repair book to figure it out. That is how I got my dash lamps repaired - I just shared the info and my experience(s) changing them with those that needed it. Good luck!

I just spent the day with my 22 year old son. He just bought a 2002 pt cruiser. One of the bulbs is out in his instrument panel, so it would be great if you would send the instructions on replacing them to me also.

Could you email me instructions too, I tried to take dash apart last weekend but didn't get too far. I see from your photo's that the vent part has to come off , didn't get that far.
