Nick, it doesn't do any good. I tried telling people that a few times and they just keep bringing up this thread and asking for a download.

I'd suggest the moderator should delete the post offering to send detailed instructions and all posts requesting them and just point to the new sticky.
The instructions posted there are PERFECT. My 15 year old son and I spent an hour and replaced our dash lights. No scratches, broken fingernails or anything else bad, like an air bag deployment. One thing of note, you can't test your handiwork in daylight. You need at least dusk before you can tell if it worked or not. I used a meter on the lamp holders before installation and crossed my fingers. Roll up your windows before you start. You'll have no power and the window switches removed when that inevitable thunderstorm blows your way. |

But that's what you have to do, gently pry out the whole switch. Work on both sides so it will slide out. Once it's out your can un-clip the two wiring harnesses that attach to the switches. I dought you can replace the lights. Are you sure the lights are blown out? In 2001 and maybe 2002 all the switches in the PT were lit up at night but in one of Chrysler's cost cutting measures as the years went on was to replace the lighted switches with switches that don't light up. If it came with lighted switches, I seriously don't think they both just happen to blow out. You probably have the non-lit ones.
