different year... different exhaust?

Can any one tell me what the difference between, say... a 2002 PT and a 2007 would be where it pertains to the exhaust system? I only ask, because the price of the dual kits I see fluctuates exponentially throughout the years... I have an 07' and I want the Edelbrock dual kit but, the last year I see it made for was an 02'.... and the eddy's exhaust is cheaper than a flowmaster or a Basani.

I had a '02, now a '06 and I was able to switch the Bassani with no problem. I don't know why another setup wouldn't work. The Bassani is all stainless and they will send replacement baffles when they go bad at NO charge.

well..... with duals I would have to cut on my baby, I am not willing to do that, but I have scoped out a Flowmaster system, rather reasonably from summit, and I believe it should not void any of my warranty.... I trust the Flowmaster name and I don't want the "rattle-can" sound like some rice tuner.
