Default Child Car seat - LATCH

Not a PT owner yet. Looking at a new 2008. Two questions.

1. I read one review on-line that said the seat position makes it difficult for child car seats. Don't really understand what that means. I know space is tight, but what is your opinion? Can someone who used front/rear facing car seats reply, please?

2. I'm looking at LX (basic) with 15" steel wheels. I want to get some full or baby moons. I've seen it for sale. Example for PT.
Full Moon Style Wheel Covers

Does it work on the stock 15" steel wheel? Or will I need to buy someother steel wheel?

Thanks,

Question Re: Child Car seat - LATCH

If you are using a generic car seat held in by the seat belts, I can't see why it wouldn't work!
-take a child seat there and try it out yourself!
-only prolem would be front seats in a vert.

Don't know about 2008s, but I manage to put two front facing car seats in the back using the latch w/ no problems.

Full moons will fit fine. Baby moons tend to fall off because the nubs on the factory steel rims are really shallow.

I've transported several different car seats & kids for friends and family; front- and rear-facing, varied makes and models holding kids from two months up to a seven-year-old and his booster seat. Not one complaint from any of the parents, either about space or how the latches work. (And the bigger kids all think Aunty P.'s Cruiser is cool --- I've had to find a couple of 'em little Cruisers of thier own!)
