Default Dead PT/ Won't start...HELP

Hi my 03 PT GT was running fine . I live in Edmonton AB CAnada and it is -30 Celcius today and FREEZING COLD!!! I was on empty so I filled up with premium fuel and parked at Costco. When I came out the PT would not start. The battery was OK . I put a jug of gas antifreeze but no luck. It would start for a bit but die. The towtruck towed my PT home to my garage. Still won't start. The battery now needs charging. If it is a fuel pump problem will Chrysler cover it on the 7yr powertrain warranty or if its a frozen fuel line or bad fuel pump will this not be covered.???Thanx Phil

Phil that's a little odd, I know that it's cold there as well as here. I haven't had mine out for over 2 weeks.

Is your PT a stick shift? If so you could try bump-starting it. Just have a friend (or three) push the PT untill you get to a decent speed (maybe 5-7 mph) then with the transmission in second gear, pop the clutch. That should turn the engine over and get the car started.

Carmen,

How did you check the battery? A click or clicking usually means the battery is not charged enough to turn over the starter. Did you try jump starting it using the correct attachments from a good battery?

Bob,

careyk/Phil asked his question 6 months ago. I'm sure he got it all sorted out by now. Carmen2tennis tacked on his/her question yesterday to Phil's old thread.

Thank u so much everyone for replying to my message. I tryed to jump start it and it still not working. I went to a auto place and they told me the battery is 90% good and I should take my car somewhere else to get it checked. My PT is automatic.. I want to take it to a mecanic is just that I am scared he will charge me so much for something that is not even the problem.
