I just bought some Champion double platinums and was about to go buy the wires so I could change them out this afternoon.

just wanted to double check the guide and poof..now it's gone.

did anyone by chance ever save these images? perhaps we can host them here on this board..

Yes, Imagestation posted about a month ago that they were going down and everything would be gone. I guess nobody had the forsight to save the pictorial about changing wires and plugs.

Well I finally got around to changing the wires and plugs today.
What was funny was that I was looking for the EGR valve in the back of the manifold....I guess that is a turbo thing cuz there was a space for it on my manifold but it was plugged up.
so..undid the five 8mm bolts up front...the one 13mm bolt in the back..and the three 10mm bolts on the throttle body. then i pulled it upwards with a bungee.

no probs other then this one scary moment when I thought a bolt was going to fall into the lower intake

put it all together and took it for a spin..ran just as good as before...we'll see if the MPG improves.

FYI it's a 2005 limited non-turbo bout 40k..still had stock plugs and wires.

upgraded the plugs to Champion Double Plataniums..the wires were not exactly an upgrade. had to settle for AutoZone Duralast wires...they look a bit thicker have an extra cover over the wires and a lifetime warranty...just hope they are not worse then my stock. (they were 29.99 btw)

So with my K&N drop in...hope to up the MPG.
Before I would get anywhere between 280-310 miles on a full tank depending on the a/c usage and how heavy my foot is...

what do we have? a 14 gallon tank? that between 17-20 mpg.

lets see after a week how these do.

thanks again for the help guys

Your right about the EGR pipe in the back. Chrysler did away with it in 2003 so it's a lot easier without it.

It's a good idea NOT to let the tank get below 1/4 tank. The fuel cools the fuel pump and if it gets real low the pump will burn out. $200 to $300 to repair.
