Default Took my bra off on a nice winter day

What a mess of dirt... I cleaned the entire front end and put on a good coat of Mothers wax...Looks great for now but I'm sure it will be dirty tommorow with the big melt we are having. Oh well at least I got the OLD dirt off. And a good protection of wax to boot.My wife however thinks I'm crazy.

You run with a bra on in the winter with all of the moisture and dirt?

I just saw on another post you do run with a full bra. The dirt and moisture plus the bra are really going to do a number on your paint. I've seen what can happen. Did you not read the warning that came with the bra not to use it in wet conditions?

Well , I've seen the front end of a few PT cruisers rockchiped to heck. They put a load of sand and crap on our awful winter roads here. I took the bra off and not one chip. There were some tiny scuff areas but very minor. I'll see if they power polish out. 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other I guess. I will probably do something different next year maybe an applicaton of a prof. clear 3M film to the front of the car. That sems to be the in thing now. I could probably put it on the front 1/3 of the hood and front of metal fenders.
